Empat Prajurit TNI Gugur Usai Baku Tembak dengan KKB di Nduga

PAPUA, JAGAPAPUA.COM - Empat prajurit Satgas Yonif Mekanis Raider 411/Pandawa Komando Cadangan Strategis TNI AD (Kostrad) gugur setelah kontak tembak dengan Tentara Pembebasan Nasional Papua Barat Organisasi Papua Merdeka (TPNPB-OPM) atau kelompok kriminal bersenjata (KKB) di Distrik Paro, Kabupaten Nduga, Papua Pegunungan, Sabtu (25/11/2023).

Kepala Bidang Penerangan Umum Puspen TNI, Kolonel (P) Agung Saptoadi menyampaikan, saat ini keempat prajurit TNI itu sudah dievakuasi dan tiba di Jawa Barat dan Jawa Tengah untuk proses pemakaman. 

Adapun prajurit TNI yang meninggal dunia yaitu Praka YL, Praka DB, Pratu MF dan Prada DA. Sementara itu, prajurit TNI yang terkena luka tembak yaitu Serda AH,  Pratu MI, dan Praka BS.

“Demikian disampaikan oleh Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto. Setelah dikirim ke kampung halamannya masing-masing untuk proses pemakaman, keluarga prajurit TNI tersebut juga akan mendapatkan santunan,” kata dia melalui keterangan tertulis Selasa, 28 November 2023.

Lebih lanjut dikatakan Panglima TNI bahwa setelah dikirim ke kampung halamannya masing-masing, keluarga prajurit TNI tersebut juga akan mendapatkan santunan.

"Kita sudah berikan santunan sesuai dengan hak-hak dia. Ada dari Asabri, TNI AD, Bank BRI dan Bank BJB itu jumlahnya per orang lebih dari 500 juta," ujarnya

Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto juga menegaskan bahwa ke empat prajurit yang gugur, akan mendapatkan Kenaikan Pangkat Luar Biasa (KPLB) atas jasa-jasanya dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya di Papua.

"Mereka kita KPLB-kan," tegasnya.

Agus mengemukakan, keempat prajurit itu diserang saat operasi pengejaran terhadap TPNPB-OPM atau KKB tersebut. Adapun pengejaran dilakukan terhadap anggota OPM yang membunuh masyarakat di Paro, Kabupaten Nduga.

Sementara itu, kondisi 2 prajurit lainnya yang terluka akibat kontak tembak dengan KKB tersebut saat ini sudah stabil. Keduanya masih mendapat perawatan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Mimika. (UWR)
