Senator Papua Barat Tanggapi Pernyataan Sekretaris KNPB

PAPUA BARAT, JAGAPAPUA.COM - Victor Yeimo, Sekretaris Umum Komite Nasional Papua Barat (KNPB) meluapkan kemarahannya kepada anggota DPD RI, Dr. Filep Wamafma.

Ia menyebut bahwa inisiasi pemekaran provinsi di Papua serta perpanjangan dana Otsus adalah inisiatif politis Senator Wamafma. Padahal menurutnya, rakyat Papua tidak menginginkan pemekaran melainkan referendum dan kemerdekaan.

Menanggapi hal tersebut, Filep Wamafma akhirnya angkat bicara. Ia bermaksud meluruskan pernyataan Victor yang dianggapnya tidak berdasar.

“Saya cuma mau meluruskan ya, biar tidak memberikan data yang menyesatkan. Pemerintah itu sudah menerima ratusan usulan terkait pemekaran wilayah. Bahkan sudah dimulai sejak zaman presiden SBY. Saya belum jadi anggota DPD. Dan perlu diketahui, isu pemekaran itu adalah isu nasional, seluruh wilayah di Indonesia. Tapi, masih di moratorium karena alasan anggaran. Sementara Papua memang masuk kebijakan strategis nasional dibawah kemendagri langsung. Dasarnya, Undang-undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2004 tentang Pemerintah Daerah. Jadi harap kalau mau menyampaikan sesuatu itu berdasarkan data.” Jelas Filep Wamafma.

Ia juga menganggapi pernyataan Victor atas kinerja Pansus yang dituding oportunis. Kata Filep, Pansus justru dibentuk dalam rangka menanggapi kasus-kasus yang terjadi di Papua, termasuk persoalan HAM.

“ Pansus itu dibentuk oleh DPD RI dalam sidang paripurna luar biasa. Landasan terbentuknya pansus terkait dengan kerusuhan yang terjadi di Surabaya karena pernyataan rasis, penangkapan mahasiswa di Jakarta, tahanan di Kalimantan, kerusuhan di Manokwari, Jayapura, Sorong, dan Wamena. Sebagai Lembaga negara, konstitusi mengamanahkan, DPD mengamanahkan agar dapat membentuk panitia khusus dalam menghadapi persoalan yang dianggap urgent di daerah. Pansus Papua tidak ada kaitan dengan pembentukan RUU Otsus Papua. RUU Otsus merupakan usulan Prolegnas dari Pemerintah. Pengesahan Prolegnas ditetapkan oleh DPR RI. Inisiatif tersebut ditetapkan dalam sidang paripurna DPR RI. Sementara kita (Pansus Papua) memberikan rekomendasi terkait permasalahan di Papua setelah melakukan pengkajian. Silahkan baca apa saja rekomendasi Pansus Papua.” Tambah Wamafma.

Ia menyebut bahwa tuduhan oportunis seharusnya dialamatkan kepada oknum yang dianggap melenceng padahal telah diberi kewenangan, mengatur dan menggunakan dana Otsus.

“Sekarang siapa yang gunakan dana otsus? Saya sebagai anggota DPD RI memiliki tugas dan kewenangan legislasi yang berkaitan dengan daerah, menyalurkan aspirasi rakyat melalui mekanisme di DPD RI. Tidak ada kepentingan pribadi yang diharapkan dari terbentuknya UU Otsus. karena UU Otsus berlaku untuk semua dengan ruang lingkup kewenangannya yaitu Kepala daerah dan Orang Asli Papua yang ada di Provinsi Papua dan Papua Barat.” Tutup Filep Wamafma.
